Nature-Inspired Art Exhibitions Span Five Locations
Several exhibitions and galleries are celebrating the natural world through art, from Lynda Garman’s coastal paintings inspired by Scotland’s western shores to an Arizona show pairing watercolor landscapes and clay botanicals with abstract paintings of plant forms. On Cape Cod, plein-air artists present landscapes painted outdoors across changing seasons, while a Naples gallery offers handcrafted works made from natural materials. In Michigan, the Muskegon Museum of History and Science’s “Drawn from Nature” combines natural-history illustrations and specimens with activities such as sketching and microscope observation, inviting visitors to explore nature as early scientists and artists did.
