Pacers Bulls and Suns Waive 10 Players in Final Cuts

The Indiana Pacers waived veteran James Johnson and rookies Keba Keita and Rienk Mast as they finalized their roster, leaving 14 players on standard contracts. The team’s tight position under the first salary-cap apron prevents it from carrying a 15th player for now; Johnson could return later, when a prorated veteran minimum fits the cap, while Keita and Mast are expected to join the Pacers’ G League affiliate. Separately, the Chicago Bulls waived four Exhibit 10 players, and the Phoenix Suns waived three players as teams made final preseason roster cuts.
