Nebraska, Colorado expect weekend rain, cooler temperatures
Forecasts for several U.S. regions call for warm conditions ahead of a shift to windier, cooler, and potentially wetter weather. In Nebraska, highs are expected to reach the low 80s Friday, with strong southerly gusts before rain and possible thunderstorms arrive over the weekend and temperatures fall into the 50s. In Colorado’s Kiowa County, warm, mostly sunny weather is expected through Friday, when gusts could reach 50 mph; a cold front and possible showers are forecast for Saturday, followed by cooler, unsettled conditions. Other forecasts describe cool starts followed by warmer afternoons and warm air with rain chances. A separate South Africa forecast is not included because it covers a different region and weather pattern.
