New Cafes and Lattes Debut Across Markets
Coffee businesses are introducing distinctive café experiences through both packaged products and small independent shops. Suntory PepsiCo Beverage Thailand launched BOSS Coffee Japan Café Series, with matcha and chocolate lattes sold exclusively at 7-Eleven. In the United States, new cafés include Barista and Baker in Upland and Two Roosters in Portland, where Vietnamese-style coffee made with beans from Vietnam’s Central Highlands is paired with Southeast Asian-inspired snacks. Delhi’s Kaala, a Vietnamese-inspired coffee window converted from a paan shop, serves slow-drip coffee and lets customers choose what to pay. In Ellensburg, Sua Vietnamese Coffee & Tea offers drinks made with Vietnamese robusta beans, including iced seasonal specialties, and plans to add hot options in winter.
