New Restaurant Openings Reported Across U.S. Cities
Restaurant scenes are changing across several U.S. communities, with new places opening alongside closures and concepts in flux. Near Wilmington, Seoul Sushi and Korean BBQ has expanded from a food truck and a Cargo District restaurant to a new Hampstead location, serving sushi, Korean barbecue and other dishes. McKinney’s recent openings include JAC’s, a smash-burger restaurant, and a toasted-sandwich shop. In Rockville, Aria has opened with halal Afghan and Persian dishes, joining ZiZa Kabob, another recently opened Afghan restaurant. West Georgia’s upcoming-business tracker lists restaurant projects including Mellow Mushroom, Jim ’N Nick’s and Raising Cane’s, while Asheville’s recent restaurant departures underscore the challenges facing hospitality businesses.
