Newsom Calls Ex-Wife’s Greece Ouster “Unfortunate”

California Gov. Gavin Newsom said he had not spoken with his ex-wife Kimberly Guilfoyle in some time and wished her well, calling the situation “unfortunate” while campaigning in New Hampshire. Guilfoyle resigned as U.S. ambassador to Greece after the Trump administration asked her to step down, following reports that she sought money from a Trump donor and allegedly offered access and business opportunities to Greek executives. Guilfoyle has denied wrongdoing.
