NFL Fans Spend Most on Sports, Survey Finds
Following a sports team can carry substantial costs, from subscriptions and tickets to travel and accommodation. An Intuit Credit Karma survey found that 45% of U.S. adults would splurge on NFL games, more than on the NBA or MLB, while 35% said they had exceeded their sports-fandom budgets in the past year. Fans are adjusting how they follow teams as prices rise. In South Africa, exchange rates and changing costs also shape football preparations and supporters’ decisions, particularly around international matches.
