Nishimura Shoots 63, Leads LPGA Arkansas

Yuna Nishimura shot a bogey-free 8-under 63 on Friday at Pinnacle Country Club in Rogers, Arkansas, finishing birdie-eagle for a one-shot lead over Yu Liu in the Walmart NW Arkansas Championship. The six-time Japan LPGA winner, in her fourth LPGA Tour year, hit every green in regulation and closed the front nine with three straight birdies. She said she went aggressively at the last putt and hoped the form would continue. Celine Boutier and Charley Hull each shot 65 and Lottie Woad a 66, with all eight from Europe's Solheim Cup winners breaking par. Auston Kim and Andrea Lee led U.S. players at 67. Hull described a post-Solheim adrenaline crash and said this week felt nicer without those nerves. After switching from blonde to brunette, she said she will return to blonde just after Christmas.
