Wofford seeks third straight win at North Carolina

North Carolina hosts Wofford in the teams’ second game of the season, with the Tar Heels coming off an 80-72 win over Western Carolina and the Terriers looking to rebound from a 90-59 loss at Tennessee. UNC is playing its second of six consecutive home games and is led by first-year head coach Michael Malone, while Wofford enters the matchup with higher expectations after a strong prior season. The teams have split their four previous meetings, and Wofford has won its past two visits to Chapel Hill. Wofford’s Fletcher Magee, a former Terriers standout and NCAA career leader in made 3-pointers, is among the program’s notable recent players; the current roster includes transfers Cam Lowe and Evan Ramsey.
