Vietnam India and Oregon set November arts festivals and exhibitions

November’s cultural calendar features events across Vietnam, India and the U.S., from large public celebrations to gallery shows, festivals and performances. In Vietnam, more than 400 activities have been announced, including Hanoi’s Vietnamese Culture Day, with a heritage parade and performances followed by several days of arts and cultural spaces around Hoan Kiem Lake. India’s lineup includes art fairs, theater and music festivals, two biennales and other events in cities including Mumbai, Delhi, Guwahati and Shillong. In Oregon, New Zone Gallery is presenting special exhibitions, including photographs of the American West and a multigenerational family art show, while Portland’s Arts for All program offers eligible SNAP cardholders $5 access to a range of arts events.
