Nuno Warns West Ham Against Slow Starts
West Ham manager Nuno Espírito Santo has urged his team to start matches better before Wednesday’s trip to Lincoln City, after the Hammers conceded first in each of their last three games. He says he still trusts captain Jarrod Bowen despite his late penalty miss against QPR, while the club will review its penalty-taking options. Nuno has also said midfielder Edson Álvarez remains part of his plans and will get opportunities, though he has yet to appear in a league match this season. Full-back Kyle Walker-Peters was substituted at halftime in consecutive games, a decision Nuno described as tough but said was intended to change the team’s shape; he added that Walker-Peters understood the reasoning.
Where do you stand?
