NVIDIA, Einride Collaborate on Autonomous Trucks

Nvidia is partnering with Swedish autonomous-trucking company Einride to accelerate the deployment of driverless heavy-duty freight vehicles. Einride will adapt Nvidia’s DRIVE Hyperion platform and use its compute, sensor, safety and AI-development technologies to build the next generation of its autonomous-driving system, with the broader stack also drawing on Nvidia’s Blackwell and Cosmos platforms. Einride operates hundreds of electric trucks for major shippers in the United States, Europe and the Middle East, and says customer demand could grow to 1,500–2,000 vehicles by 2028, with about 80% potentially suitable for automation in the medium term. The companies said the collaboration is intended to scale autonomous operations across Einride’s existing freight network, where some autonomous trucks are already operating under customer contracts.
