Nvidia plans $3B Meta investment, expands Muse partnership
NVIDIA and Meta are expanding their partnership on Meta’s Muse family of AI models and agents, aiming to improve training and inference performance while lowering costs. Meta plans to increase its use of NVIDIA infrastructure, including Vera Rubin systems and CPUs, Spectrum-X networking and BlueField-4, to support next-generation AI workloads. The companies are also considering work on NVIDIA’s OpenShell architecture for safer agent deployment and Sentry for monitoring agent behavior. NVIDIA said it will invest $3 billion in Meta’s equity offering.
