Nylander reaches 300 goals in Leafs' 7-2 rout
William Nylander scored twice in Toronto’s 7-2 win over Edmonton to reach 300 career NHL goals, all with the Maple Leafs; he is the sixth player in franchise history to reach the milestone. Toronto has won four straight, while Anthony Stolarz made 30 saves and Leon Draisaitl scored both Edmonton goals. Nylander is also on a four-game scoring streak and ranks among the NHL’s top 10 in goals and points. Coach Jim Hiller celebrated the achievement and said Nylander has plenty left, while praising the balance of Nylander’s line with Nick Paul and Kirill Marchenko.
