Obituaries document deaths across three states

Barry Scott Terrell, 56, of Lexington, died October 12; he worked as a fraud investigator for Kentucky’s Transportation Cabinet and was remembered for his devotion to family, faith, golf and friends. A memorial service for Lynette Ann Pierson, 75, of Tyler, is scheduled for October 17 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Tyler. Funeral services for Bradley Paul Johnson, 45, of Tyler, are scheduled for October 16 at Rose Heights Church, with visitation the evening before. Patti Lynn Murray Sportiello, 58, of Hendersonville, Tennessee, was scheduled to be buried at Still Waters Memorial Gardens after funeral services in Jacksonville on October 14. Greta Phyllis Cates Leard, 87, died in Austin on July 27; a journalism graduate and longtime church secretary, she was also a devoted family historian, genealogist and community volunteer.
