Officials Plan Town Halls Across Four Communities

Local and state officials are holding town halls and forums to hear from constituents and discuss community concerns. New Jersey Assemblywoman Rosy Bagolie plans a forum for parents and caregivers on oversight of special education, following concerns raised at an Assembly committee hearing. Savannah Alderwoman Linda Wilder-Bryan’s District 3 meeting will bring police, fire and neighborhood-safety representatives to discuss public safety. In Irondale, Councilor David Spivey and Mayor James Stewart will address capital projects, parks, economic development, city services and the mayor’s vision for the city. U.S. Rep. Deborah Ross held a question-and-answer town hall for students and community members at Athens Drive High School, where attendees could ask about issues of their choice.
