Officials Seek Public Input on Road Projects
Communities and transportation agencies are seeking public input on several proposed street and pedestrian projects. Carson City is gathering feedback on plans to turn North Carson Street into a complete-street gateway to downtown, while Ector County has discussed widening Odessa’s Moss Avenue and improving intersections, including consideration of a roundabout or traffic signal. Georgia DOT is proposing to widen Wrightsboro Road in Grovetown, add a median and shoulders, and improve safety and traffic flow. In Big Rapids, officials are developing a sidewalk or possible multiuse path along Perry Avenue, with two pedestrian crossings, to connect nearby businesses, the Holiday Inn and Ferris State University destinations; the design and funding remain under consideration.
