Ohio Breweries Earn Great American Beer Festival Medals

Wisconsin’s brewery road-trip guide highlights seven destinations offering tours, tasting rooms, beer gardens and other attractions, including New Glarus and Milwaukee’s Lakefront Brewery. In England, Worthing Beer & Cider Festival will feature more than 40 cask beers, with a focus on independent brewers and selections from Sheffield that are seldom found in Sussex. A separate retrospective revisits discontinued American beers such as Falstaff and Pete’s Wicked Ale, tracing their place in brewing history. At the 2026 Great American Beer Festival, several Northeast Ohio breweries won medals, including golds for Masthead, Akronym and Ghost Tree. The festival’s style-by-style gold medalists also offer craft alternatives to widely searched national brands, with comparisons intended to match beers by style rather than rank them across categories.
