Ramaswamy and Acton cast ballots after Ohio early votes top 1.73 million
Ohio Republican gubernatorial candidate Vivek Ramaswamy urged voters to back his pledges to reduce property taxes and electricity bills, make housing more affordable and improve public safety, saying voters should hold him and other candidates accountable for delivering. After voting in Columbus, he said families want not only to cover expenses but also to get ahead. Ramaswamy is running against Democrat Amy Acton, and both candidates cast ballots in Columbus on Election Day. More than 1.73 million Ohioans had voted early, exceeding the state’s early-voting total from the 2022 midterm election.
