Ohio State Breaks Ground on Timashev Technology Tower
Ohio State University broke ground on the Timashev Technology Tower, an eight-story, 103,000-square-foot addition to its west-campus Innovation District expected to open in September 2028. The building is intended to bring student and university-born startups, established companies, researchers and the university’s Center for Software Innovation together, with flexible workspaces designed to foster collaboration and help new ventures grow. University leaders say the project—backed by partnerships among the university, philanthropic and government organizations, and JobsOhio—is part of a broader effort to spur innovation, company creation and economic development across Ohio.
