Oklahoma Father Shuttles Between Hospitals for Wife, Baby

Cameron Odum has been walking between two Oklahoma City hospitals several times a day as his wife, Robbinjo, receives treatment for severe necrotizing pancreatitis and their newborn daughter, HazelJo, undergoes care for bladder exstrophy and other serious congenital abnormalities. Robbinjo’s illness was discovered while she was 27 weeks pregnant, and HazelJo was born prematurely after doctors faced complications including severe preeclampsia. HazelJo required surgery within her first day of life to create a colostomy and mucous fistula and is expected to need additional procedures. She is being transferred to Bethany Children’s Hospital for further surgeries, while Robbinjo remains at OU Health as specialists assess her condition. Cameron says the family’s crisis has left him unable to work and struggling emotionally, and he is seeking prayers and financial support through a GoFundMe campaign.
