Orlando City Earns 2-2 Draw, Maintains Playoff Position

Orlando City’s 2-2 draw at Chicago extended a costly run of dropped points: the Lions surrendered a 2-0 lead, after also conceding late goals in recent draws against New York City FC and Toronto FC. Orlando remains seventh in the Eastern Conference and, with two regular-season matches left, is still fighting to secure a postseason place and avoid the single-elimination play-in round. A win at fifth-place Charlotte on Saturday would guarantee a playoff berth, while winning both remaining games would secure seventh place. Interim coach Martín Perelman said the team competed but was disappointed with the Chicago result and must now recover and prepare for the next match.
