Orlando City Hosts New England on Decision Day
Orlando City hosted New England Revolution on Decision Day, with the Lions seeking a better Eastern Conference playoff position after clinching a postseason berth for the seventh straight season. Orlando could finish seventh through ninth; a win was necessary to move above ninth, while reaching seventh also depended on results elsewhere. New England arrived in strong form, having won four of its previous five matches, and was near the top of the East; the Revolution had beaten Orlando 4-2 in their earlier meeting this season. Orlando made two changes to its starting lineup, bringing in David Brekalo and Eduard Atuesta, while Griffin Dorsey returned to the bench after an injury absence. Early live coverage reported that New England had more possession but neither team had scored.
