Orlando, NYCFC Set for Playoff-Race Match

Orlando City hosts New York City FC looking to extend a five-game home winning streak, while NYCFC needs points in the Eastern Conference playoff race. Orlando arrives after a 4-1 win over D.C. United, has scored multiple goals in seven straight league matches, and is led by Martín Ojeda and Antoine Griezmann, who have both been in strong scoring form. NYCFC has struggled for consistency, and summer signing Bénie Traoré has made little impact, though Nicolás Fernández Mercau leads the team with 15 goals. NYCFC won the teams’ previous meeting 5-0, giving Orlando an opportunity to respond in the rematch.
