Orlando Pirates unveil limited-edition 2026/27 third kit inspired by Soweto

Orlando Pirates and adidas have unveiled the club’s limited-edition third kit for the 2026/27 season, completing its lineup alongside the black-and-gold home jersey and white away kit. Inspired by Soweto’s rooftops and the generations of families and supporters connected to the club, the design celebrates belonging, resilience and community. The shirt has a dark maroon base with geometric graphics in red, dusky orange and light purple, plus the club’s skull-and-crossbones crest and an EQT-inspired collar. It made its first official appearance at South Africa Fashion Week on October 24 in a showcase titled “From Field to Fashion”; the club has not announced its on-field debut. The kit went on sale through the club’s stores on October 25, with a wider Adidas and retailer release scheduled for October 30.
