PACS Group to acquire 32 Florida nursing facilities in fourth new state
PACS Group announced definitive agreements to acquire the operations of 32 skilled nursing facilities in Florida, leased from Omega Healthcare Investors, expanding its footprint into the state. The Florida facilities comprise 4,049 licensed beds and will mark PACS’s entry into Florida, augmenting its existing operations in Texas, South Carolina, Tennessee and Kentucky. The Florida deal is expected to close in the fourth quarter, subject to customary closing conditions. Separately, PACS closed on 11 additional Eduro Healthcare facilities, bringing the total Eduro closings to 31 of 34 and expanding the network to 355 facilities across New Mexico, North Dakota and South Dakota, with 3,633 beds added by Eduro to date. The Eduro acquisitions have extended PACS into three new states, while the Florida deal adds a fourth new market. CEO Jason Murray said the Florida expansion aligns with the company’s long-term strategy to grow in high-demand markets and enhance care delivery.
