Pakistan names uncapped trio for Sri Lanka Tests

Pakistan named an initial 14-player squad for its two-Test World Test Championship series against Sri Lanka, with Babar Azam continuing as captain and former skipper Shan Masood omitted. Uncapped batters Mohammad Taha, Mohammad Suleman and Sameer Minhas earned maiden call-ups after strong first-class seasons, while Salman Ali Agha and left-arm spinner Ali Usman return to the side. The series is scheduled for Rawalpindi and Lahore from November 9 to 21; selectors will add two fast bowlers after a three-day warm-up match in Islamabad on November 4–6.
