Paramount Skydance readies $49 billion debt package for Warner acquisition

Paramount Skydance is moving to raise financing for its roughly $110 billion acquisition of Warner Bros. Discovery after settling lawsuits that had delayed the deal. The company has launched a $7.5 billion term-loan offering and plans to raise about $44.4 billion in additional secured debt, with bankers preparing to market a broader package of roughly $49 billion in loans and bonds in the coming weeks. The proceeds, alongside cash and previously announced equity financing, will help fund the purchase and repay existing debt. The financing is expected to be one of the largest buyout debt offerings on record, drawing significant investor attention.
