Paul Lee Re-Elected Alabama House Majority Leader
Alabama House Republicans re-elected Rep. Paul Lee of Dothan as majority leader, giving him a full term in the role after he took over earlier this year. State Rep. James Lomax won reelection in House District 20, defeating Democrat James Linderholm after a primary contest against former U.S. Rep. Mo Brooks. House Speaker Pro Tempore Chris Pringle also won reelection in District 101, beating Democrat Joan Friedlander; Pringle emphasized economic growth and fiscal responsibility, while Friedlander campaigned on health care, education, and opposing school voucher programs.
