Pearland, Texas, police say a masked man was reported making multiple ATM withdrawals with different cards before he and another man left in a white pickup. Officers tracked down the vehicle; after the passenger got out and was detained, the driver fled, prompting a pursuit. Police footage showed the driver throwing cash from the truck, and officers later recovered more than $6,000. The driver, Levon Steven Jr., was charged with evading arrest and tampering with evidence, while passenger Tarvares Givens was charged with failure to identify. Both men were reported in custody, and police said the investigation could lead to additional fraud-related charges.
