Pentagon Probes Suspected Cyberattack on Six Commissaries
The Pentagon is investigating August freezer malfunctions at U.S. military bases as possible cyber sabotage, though officials have not said whether the inquiry has identified a cause or culprit. The failures affected at least six on-base commissaries, and in one case freezer temperatures were apparently raised overnight, spoiling food. Military cyber investigators are coordinating with law enforcement and French counterparts over similar freezer disruptions reported at commercial supermarkets in France.
