Maurice Graves, 30, was arrested in Milwaukee on a first-degree murder charge in connection with the Oct. 5 fatal shooting of Dionna Causey, 30, in Peoria, Illinois. Peoria police said investigators identified Graves as a suspect and obtained an arrest warrant before finding him at a Milwaukee home in coordination with the U.S. Marshals Service. Causey was shot in the area of West Antoinette Street, drove away, and crashed into a business near Western Avenue and Howett Street; she later died at a hospital. Graves was interviewed by Peoria detectives and is awaiting extradition to Peoria, while the investigation continues.
