Peoria woman killed in shooting, vehicle crash

Dionna Causey, 30, of Peoria, died Monday after being shot three times while driving on the city’s South Side. Police said the shooting was reported in the 1900 block of West Antoinette Street; Causey then drove away and crashed into a business at Western Avenue and Howett Street. She was taken to a hospital, where she died despite efforts to save her. No arrests or suspect information have been announced, and the investigation is ongoing.
