Poland signs pact to prepare for HealthAI global regulatory network
Poland’s Ministry of Health has signed a one-year cooperation agreement with HealthAI to prepare for joining its Global Regulatory Network, which supports responsible governance of artificial intelligence in healthcare. The agreement begins an accession process rather than granting immediate full membership; if Poland joins, it would be the network’s second EU member after Portugal. Polish officials will take part in the network’s regulatory leadership group and exchange expertise with governments from 30 countries. Network members can access regulator-reviewed healthcare AI tools and a real-time system for sharing warnings about harmful incidents, while HealthAI and Poland also plan a stakeholder gathering in Poland.
