Police Rescue Loose Cow on Baltimore Beltway

A calf escaped from a Pikesville farm Wednesday, wandered through the neighborhood and made its way onto I-695 near Greenspring Avenue, prompting multiple calls to police. Baltimore County officers and the owner used ropes to corner and capture the animal, which was later taken away by a farmhand in a trailer. No injuries were reported, and the calf was tired but otherwise unharmed. The owner said the farm plans to add fencing to prevent another escape.
