Charlie Kirk Statue Vandalized at Phoenix Headquarters

An eight-foot statue of Charlie Kirk outside Turning Point USA headquarters in Phoenix was vandalized with red paint on the face and neck days after it was unveiled on September 10, 2026, the one-year anniversary of his killing. Phoenix police received reports at 8:09 a.m. A memorial sign near the statue that invoked Jesus was defaced, with the name crossed out and Satan seemingly written on it. TPUSA said the incident happened in the middle of the night because evil never sleeps, noted the intentional crossing out of Jesus, and said it was reviewing camera footage and working with law enforcement. On Sunday, spokesman Andrew Kolvet said the team restored the statue so it looked good as new, stating: “Evil may never sleep, but neither do we. We won’t stop. We will win. They will lose.” Widow Erika Kirk said they thought a bullet would silence her husband’s voice but it only made it louder, and “Every attempt to tear down what Charlie built makes us root deeper and work even harder.” She added that crossing out Jesus will not silence Christians and “God will not be mocked.” Rep. Abe Hamadeh called the act truly abhorrent and said the left is intolerant and militant. Rep. Andy Biggs said the liberties Kirk died advocating for are still under attack.
