Three Men Named by Mace Face Sex Charges

South Carolina authorities arrested and charged John Osborne, Brendan Bryant and Eric Bowman in connection with an alleged sexual assault of an intoxicated 23-year-old woman at a Sullivan's Island home on Oct. 26, 2018. Arrest warrants allege the woman was unable to consent and say a witness saw the incident on a home security video feed and saved still images. Osborne faces assault and battery and criminal sexual conduct charges; Bryant is charged with voyeurism; Bowman faces voyeurism, obstruction of justice and disclosing the victim's identity. The arrests followed Rep. Nancy Mace's 2025 House floor speech accusing the three men and a fourth person of sexual misconduct. That fourth person has not been charged. The 9th Circuit Solicitor's Office is prosecuting the case. The allegations have not been adjudicated.
