Students Arrested Over Threats at Tucson, Delano Schools
Police in Tucson arrested a 16-year-old Pueblo High School student accused of posting an online threat against classmates and staff; investigators said they found no credible threat to the school. In a separate case in Delano, California, police arrested a Chavez Collegiate High School student after a report alleged the student threatened to carry out a shooting at a school event. Officers searched the student’s home and found no firearms, and authorities said there is no ongoing threat to the school. Police urged students, families and community members to report threats through school channels or directly to law enforcement rather than spreading threatening posts online.
