Pomerantz Investigates Investor Claims at Five Firms
Pomerantz LLP announced investigations into whether HCA Healthcare, State Street, EyePoint, Pasqal and Johnson & Johnson or their officers engaged in securities fraud or other unlawful business practices. The notices cite company news followed by stock declines: HCA cut its 2026 profit outlook after payer mix hurt quarterly revenue; State Street missed revenue estimates and reported sharply lower asset inflows; Pasqal ended its participation in a French defense quantum-computing program; and Johnson & Johnson reported low quarterly net earnings amid talc-litigation charges and slower MedTech growth. EyePoint’s notices point to failed pivotal Phase 3 trial results for its wet AMD treatment, followed by termination of that clinical program and a 53% workforce reduction. The announcements describe law-firm investigations, not findings of wrongdoing.
