Pomerantz Investigates Securities Claims at Five Companies

Pomerantz LLP on October 13, 2026 announced investigations on behalf of investors in Cooper Companies, Beam Therapeutics, Corning, and ClearPoint Neuro into whether each company and certain officers or directors engaged in securities fraud or other unlawful business practices. The announcements do not establish wrongdoing. Cooper on September 9, 2026 reported revenue of $717 million, essentially flat year-over-year, linked Americas results to CooperVision U.S. channel inventory reductions that would still hit Q4, and cut full-year revenue guidance by about 1.4% to $4.24 billion and EPS guidance to $4.51 to $4.55; shares fell $9.31, or 14.67%, to $54.17 the next day. Beam on September 8 issued updated BEAM-302 Phase 1/2 data for alpha-1 antitrypsin deficiency, saying single-dose treatment was well tolerated with an acceptable safety profile and that transient, predominantly Grade 1 ALT and/or AST elevations were observed; shares fell $2.83, or 9.54%, to $26.83 that day. Corning on September 11 entered an equity distribution agreement with Goldman Sachs for up to $2 billion of common stock for general corporate purposes; shares fell $22.80, or 13.7%, to $143.60 on September 14. ClearPoint's underlying event details were unreadable in the source text. Pomerantz, operating more than 85 years since Abraham L. Pomerantz founded it, gave a contact for investors. No findings are in the record.
