Prescott Sets Cowboys TD Record in 37-20 Win

Dak Prescott set the Dallas Cowboys’ franchise record for touchdown passes in a 37-20 win over the Washington Commanders, throwing four scores and passing Tony Romo’s previous mark of 248 with a fourth-quarter touchdown to CeeDee Lamb. Prescott finished 26 of 31 for 279 yards, while Lamb had eight catches for 153 yards and two touchdowns, helping Dallas rebound from its season-opening loss and improve to 1-1. Washington fell to 0-2, and quarterback Jayden Daniels left after injuring his non-throwing arm on the final play of the first half; Marcus Mariota replaced him after halftime. Prescott now holds the Cowboys’ career records for passing yards and touchdown passes, but remains behind Roger Staubach and Troy Aikman in regular-season victories and has yet to lead Dallas to a Super Bowl appearance.
