Norway’s Princess Astrid, the older sister of the late King Harald, died on Friday at age 94, the royal palace announced. Her final public appearance was two days earlier at Harald’s state funeral. The palace and her family remembered her as a loyal, warm and dutiful member of the Royal House who supported her family and cared deeply about vulnerable people. Her death comes shortly after Harald, who ruled Norway for more than 35 years, died at age 89.
