Publix Plans November Stores in Georgia, South Carolina

Publix is expanding across the Southeast, with two stores scheduled to open Nov. 18 in Mableton, Georgia, and Florence, South Carolina, after three openings earlier in November. Recent additions include a 50,325-square-foot store in Wesley Chapel, North Carolina, and a rebuilt 54,964-square-foot store at Merchants Crossing in Englewood, Florida, which includes a Publix Liquors and a customer dining area. In Marion Oaks, Florida, construction of another Publix is nearly complete, with an opening planned for early next year. The openings and projects reflect the grocer’s continued growth across the region.
