QCR Holdings agrees to sell three Iowa branches
QCR Holdings’ Cedar Rapids Bank & Trust has agreed to sell its Community Bank & Trust division to BankIowa, transferring two Waterloo branches and one Cedar Falls branch in Iowa’s Waterloo-Cedar Falls area. The deal includes about $140 million in deposits, $29 million in loans and wealth-management relationships representing roughly $153 million in assets under management. QCR says the sale will help it focus on markets with stronger long-term growth potential, while BankIowa says it will expand its presence in the Cedar Valley. The transaction is not expected to produce a material gain or loss for QCR and is anticipated to close in the first quarter of 2027, subject to customary conditions and regulatory approvals.
