Quiet Weather Expected, Regional Storms Ahead
Forecasts point to contrasting conditions across several U.S. regions: El Paso and Las Cruces should stay mostly clear, cool and dry, with only a small chance of showers later in the week. In eastern KELOLAND, rain may linger through Wednesday while western areas see more sunshine; a high-pressure ridge is expected to bring drier weather and a gradual warm-up later in the week. Southeast Alaska faces repeated showers, heavier rain near Ketchikan and advisories for strong winds and mountain snow, while much of the state has mixed clouds and sunshine. The CSRA forecast also calls for mostly dry, warmer weather ahead of a weaker storm system expected Thursday.
