Raising Cane’s Opens First Macon Restaurant With Local Hiring and Events

Raising Cane’s opened its first Macon and Middle Georgia restaurant on Riverside Drive, marking the chain’s expansion into the area. The location hired more than 100 local employees and serves the brand’s chicken finger meals, including Cane’s Sauce, crinkle-cut fries, Texas toast and coleslaw. Opening-day events included a drawing awarding 20 customers free Cane’s for a year, giveaways for the first 100 customers, live entertainment and a ribbon-cutting with the Greater Macon Chamber of Commerce. The company also donated $2,000 to All About Animals Rescue.
