Rapid City Woman Sentenced to 260 Days

A Rapid City woman was sentenced to 260 days in jail after pleading guilty to failing to notify authorities of a death and violating burial permit requirements in a case involving a man whose body was found in a hotel room months after his death. Two other residents still face charges. Separately, residents weighed proposed rules that would restrict large data centers over concerns about water, electricity, noise and location; the Planning Commission is set to revisit the proposal after further public input.
