Raspberry Pi Profit Triples, Revenue Surges 90%

Raspberry Pi reported a record first half of 2026, with revenue rising 90% year over year to $256.9 million and pretax profit more than tripling to $19.6 million. Adjusted EBITDA more than doubled to $40.3 million, while shipments increased 17% to 4.2 million units and the order backlog doubled to 2.6 million. Results benefited from strategic memory-chip stockpiling in 2025, which helped Raspberry Pi maintain availability as AI-related demand strained industry supply, although the company expects margins to normalize as that inventory advantage fades. Demand was particularly strong among OEMs, resellers, smart-home businesses, and aerospace and defense customers. Raspberry Pi also launched the AI HAT+ 2, enabling its Raspberry Pi 5 computers to run more advanced AI models directly on the device, and said full-year earnings and second-half volumes should exceed market expectations.
