Regional Forecasts Expect Storms, Cooling, Flood Risks
Daytona Beach and Tampa will remain warm and mostly sunny through Friday before a weak front brings cooler, breezier weekend weather; in Volusia County, rising St. Johns River levels remain a significant flood hazard despite the mostly dry forecast. Charlotte faces fog and rain, with possible thunderstorms through Friday as a front moves through, followed by a cooler, sunny weekend. St. Louis will turn cooler Friday, with a possible light freeze in rural and low-lying areas Friday night, before sunny, dry weekend weather. Tampa should see highs ease from the mid-80s to around 80 Sunday and the upper 70s early next week, while Daytona’s weekend highs are expected in the upper 70s to around 80.
