Recent hiring and leadership changes span law, accounting, real estate, nonprofits and insurance. A report tracking AmLaw 200 employee-benefits and executive-compensation practices counted 25 partner and counsel moves nationwide in August and September 2026. DeWitt added associates Isabella Barnard in Brookfield and Gabriel Silveira in Minneapolis, while CohnReznick hired Youmna Assad as an assurance partner in commercial real estate. Richmond-area announcements included new legal and property professionals, conservation leadership and board appointments at CARITAS and Richmond Animal League. In insurance, Conduit Re engaged veteran underwriter Winfried Knust, Woodgate & Clark appointed Stewart Steel as a non-executive director, and Clearwater Underwriting named Henry MacHale CEO.
